NJASK Review/Updated Fall Schedule Tutoring Sessions

Peace Everyone! I just wanted to share that I have a Grade 3 client whose teacher is already preparing her students for the NJASK test for New Jersey. About 3 weeks ago, this student was Sooo happy about not having homework on the weekends and therefore no Tutoring Sessions with me. Now, her teacher assigns them NJASK prep work in Math and English Language Arts (ELA) every weekend. As an educator myself being bogged down with constant paperwork, justifications, planning, and excessive Test Prep, I thought to myself that this is a step in the right direction. While the struggle continues with excessive testing, I do feel that beginning in September to ease a bit of the expectations is warranted and will happen whether we agree with it or not. Until that change. I will now be tutoring that third grader on the weekends by her parents’ request.

With that off of my chest, here is an updated Tutoring Schedule for Fall.
